I just got my implant 3 days ago. The only thing that kind hurt was getting my arm numb. The procedure is fast and painless. Most insurances pay for it fully. I’m a dark skin color so I didn’t really have much bruising but I had blood. It’s a little painful to touch because it’s still new. You should leave your arm wrapped for 24 to help with bruising especially if you have a lighter skin color. Other than that you can keep a band aid on it. It lasts for up to 3 years. There are side affects and mine made my period come on but I have no cramps. My period might come on or will never come on. Everyone is different! G
