Theres a lot to unload here

Bo

As I said, there's a lot to unload here. My main question is: While Kyle Long took a cross country road trip to Google headquarters in California from Maine.. why didn't she tell him then.. even stopping him before he left for this trip telling him she deleted it would have been more beneficial to him. Kyle Long has a mental illness, and there's no denying that.. but I dont think hiding the fact that his wife deleted the video was a good move.

Secondly, the wife goes on to say (after he's been locked up) that she hopes they can give him the help he needs.. if she were so concerned about his mental health wouldn't it be more beneficial to her to help him receive that help in a more constructive and positive way than letting him make a fool of himself driving to California to:

- be immediately turned away, since they will not see anyone without an appointment.. which could trigger outrage from him and cause him to harm people.

- in the slim chance they let him in and had a meeting with him and them turn him away when he was so headstrong about his case could also trigger him to harm other people because he was so sure that he had the answer.

1. Is the wife wrong for not telling him she deleted the video?

2. Was she wrong to sit by quietly while he planned to drive cross country to meet with Google? She could have easily made suggestions to go about this the right way by encouraging him to first, set up an appointment with people at Google prior to making the drive there, emphasizing on the fact that it would be very likely that they would turn him away without an appointment.

3. What would you do if you were Kyle Longs wife or father? Would you have handled it differently?
