I grew up thinking that if you bought something you didn't end up liking, (say mascara) it was just a loss on your part.

I'd just use it anyways, give it to someone else or throw it away.

However just a week ago, I learned that people commonly will get a product, try it and if they dont like it much, they just return it. It could be something little like, the mascara wand was thicker than you like and it goes back to the store.

For me to return something the product would have to be unusable (broken, damaged, or didn't work in any way).

Now that I know you can return things you dont like, I feel like trying new things because I dont have to keep it but before I do this, how many of you do this?? Or do you only return things when they are faulty?
