Is it bad if the groom sees the wedding dress before the wedding?

I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it takes away from some of the surprise. I never showed my husband my dress and he was floored by it when he saw me in it. He still tells me how perfect it was for me and how amazing I looked in it.

No, but I think there should still be a “first look”. My husband and I took pictures before our wedding, so we did a first look before the ceremony. It didn’t make it any less special. He bawled when he saw me at our fort look, and bawled again when I walked down the aisle. 😊 Only time I’ve seen him really cry.

I don’t believe in the superstition of it, but it’s still fun for him to not see it until you’re in it and all done up on your wedding day :)

The superstition is BS. I wouldn't have been able to make it down the aisle if my husband and I hadn't taken the five minutes to be alone for the ceremony.

My husband saw the dress before the wedding. I don't believe it has anything to do with wether or not your marriage will be successful 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s bad if you think it is. I’m very traditional and I kept my dress a secret. I always dreamt about my groom seeing me in my dress for the first time as I walked down the aisle and he would tear up- and it happened haha so that was what we wanted. It’s totally up to you!
