Yesterday I had my 16 week check up and my doctor was having trouble finding the heart beat using a Doppler. He then did a ultrasound and there she was moving away, heart beat 158. My husband was scared but I felt calm. I knew everything was okay. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I feel her and I have a home Doppler so I know how hard it has been to find her heart beat. It takes me up to 15 mins sometimes to find it. I have a anterior placenta, and 2 precious c sections. Also a little on the thicker side. So I kind of figured our doctor was going to have trouble. My doctor said as baby gets bigger, we will be able to hear the heart beat better. This was the first time he used the Doppler, so he said since baby is still small it can be tough to find. Anyone else have this problem?
