I’m 5’2 and 110 lbs, only gained like 15 lbs my entire pregnancy and I didn’t have my first till almost past 41 weeks.

There’s been some research done on this, there’s a slight increase in shorter gestations in shorter women (under 5’4”) but it isn’t definitively true that all shorter women will have shorter pregnancies. They still need to do research on what or how labor is triggered (I can’t believe it’s 2019 and they still don’t know how labor is triggered 🙄) I say this as a scientist; I just wish more priority was put on women’s health and understanding basic women’s health science.  It’s still in a gray area between myth and truth
