MY experience w/pregnancy. Can’t give Natural birth!
Hi all. Wanted to share my experiences so far with this pregnancy. We tried for 3 years and when we least expected it, it happened! 2 weeks after he proposed, we found out we were pregnant(January 11th, 2019). When it happened, I was busy with preparing my application for a Masters Program so I wasn’t totally focused on conceiving. Lol.
A few things that may have aided in our pregnancy:
1. Took my mind off of it(by accident)
2. We stopped smoking cigarettes and started vaping instead
3. We prayed...harder
I did not do anything special like lose weight or do pre-seed or start taking any special vitamins.
My pregnancy symptoms were:
1. Tired
2. EXTREME boob pain/sharp pains
3. Could not smell certain things(including fiancé!)
4. I hated vaping all of a sudden
5. I threw up off of drinking cold water
Also, I skipped a whole period before I got pregnant which was SO weird to me.
1st trimester:
was hell. I hated it. Very uncomfortable. Always tired, can’t eat. Everything makes you want to throw up. Also found out I’m high risk with gestational diabetes and normal/high blood pressure. This means I have to go to the doctor every other week. BUT it also means, I get to have a lot of ultrasounds and check on the baby. I also found out my fibroid grew back. It’s a little bigger and it’s right on top of baby. But baby is ok.
2nd trimester:
just entering it at 16 weeks and 3 days.
We found out we may be having a girl! I am so glad the sickness is gone. I can smell anything again and my appetite definitely picked up! I have now began to gain some weight. My belly feels full all the time and I have quite a bit of ligament pains. I’m also in that stage of, is she fat or is she pregnant? Lol. Can’t wait to get bigger. I also gained a stuffy nose this trimester. My cold has been harder to get rid of. I have began to have back pain more often too. Can’t stand for too long. I feel great this trimester.
Doc also told me that I cannot give natural birth. This was so sad to hear. I have to have a scheduled c-section because of my previous surgery of removing a fibroid 2 years ago. Apparently, they cut in through my uterus and giving natural birth can cause it rupture.
Will update my experiences later! Thanks for reading!
