I honestly don't get the whole just women scenario, I get it's more of a woman thing but the woman didn't make the baby herself. 
Baby showers are supposed to be about the baby and celebrating the joy of life, for me that includes those who will be in the baby's life so men and women, young and old.

Mine was just women except for some children. I liked it that way. It was pretty small and I was given a lot of advice from the women in my family about what it’s like having a baby from a woman’s perspective.

Coed, all women  Baby shower's  tend to be a little boring in my opinion.

My whole family has always been just woman anytime there’s been a baby shower so I would kind of want to stick to that but my man says he’s never heard of a baby shower with just woman because his family always did co-ed.... I’m not really sure what to do now

I was fine w co-ed and my mom came up w the idea but it was my husband who said no (along w my dad supporting him).  They said baby showers are to welcome the mom into motherhood and itd be weird. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Women only.

I never had one for myself. For the ones I’ve attended, I have preferred the coed ones.

We did men and women so my husband had to partake in the torture with me. And a keg so people actually showed up 😂
