My mom spent a lot of money throwing me a baby shower. It was absolutely beautiful! We had about 40 people invited. We patiently awaited the arrival of everyone and suddenly realized that it was past the start time of the shower. Wanna know how many showed up? 5. A total of 5 people for this nice baby shower that my mom threw for me and my baby. A shower that cost probably around $600. I am so mad at all the people that said they were coming out of the 40. 32 responded and said that they would be there. You could see the disappointment on my moms face and it absolutely broke my heart. We had 30 gifts to give out for the games we were playing so we just started handing them out to everyone there. I’ve already made my mind up that I will NOT attend anyone else’s parties or showers from now on. I am so mad at the people that told her they were coming and flaked out. It is honestly a shame.
