Capital punishment (please read full)

Hi I’m from the UK and obviously we don’t have that here. We seem to be extremely lax when it comes to pedophiles murderers rapists and abusers and I think we need a much stricter justice system something like the 3 strike rule.

life doesn’t mean life here except in about 30 cases and we are not hard enough at all on offenders or reoffenders especially those of heinous crimes like what just happened to that poor 6 year old girl recently.

For those of you who live in USA states where capital punishment is still being used;

Do you believe in it?

Do you believe it’s a deterrent to people to do bad things?

Do you believe your three strike system works?

Im not saying I agree with it I just like to hear people’s views on it
