Nickelodeon kid’s choice awards

In between episodes of Paw Patrol I keep seeing commercials about the kid’s choice awards on Nickelodeon. They are having a performance by Migos. I don’t listen to them, but I knew for sure their lyrics probably weren’t appropriate. I googled “bad and boujee”. 😳 I’m sure they’ll make the performance appropriate. But my issue is, kid’s are watching. Let’s say they hear Migos for the first time during this performance. They like it. The performance was pg. Next thing we know we have 9 year olds walking around singing about dope being cooked in a crockpot. I’m very much aware that lots of kids probably already listen to Migos anyway. My issue is that although some parents may not care. Or kid’s listen anyway. Do you think that Nickelodeon given the huge influence and impact they can have on kids should choose their performers more responsibly?
