Awkward pumping moment
So I am a college professor and I pump at work. I made my schedule so I have some breaks and I can lock the door to my office. So far so good. Except I never thought about the fact that the maintenance staff has keys and comes in during the day to take out the trash. Well, that was pretty awkward today since I was facing the door, pumping, when the maintenance man (of course it had to be a guy today!) opened the door. I screamed no, no, no, he got flustered and closed the door. And now every time the maintenance guys have walked past my door, we have exchanged awkward looks! 😂
I may need a "do not disturb" sign after all. Except I was trying to avoid that. When students know you are in your office no locked door and sign will prevent them from trying to speak to you regardless. 😄
