AF was due 9/8 moved to 9/10 and still nothing.

I haven't tested because I'm afraid I'll get a BFN. My birthday is 9/13 and I don't wanna get a BFN before that day. But at the same time I want to test because something tells me what if I get my BFP on my birthday. It'll be the best bday gift.
What should I do test or keep waiting?
