Period is late???

I'm seven days late, still on the mini pill as I gave birth in November, and I've taken two tests which are both negative. I never used to be late, my period always came at the start of the month. My milk supply has also suddenly lessened significantly. Could it be stress??

It’s common not to get your period while breastfeeding and taking the mini pill. Your body doesn’t release the same hormones while breast feeding to trigger a period. It’s normal. If the test is negative I wouldn’t worry

My period was all over the place first year postpartum. I had a 26 day cycle before baby, after it was 45 days, 56 days etc it never was predictable. Since you’re on the pill and breastfeeding it’s probably that your period hasn’t regulated yet. My milk supply would also dip around when I got my period and would go back up afterwards. The only thing you could do is wait and keep testing. 
(Btw I did get pregnant at 11.5 months postpartum but was never on the pill and it was also the first time we didn’t prevent. My milk supply tanked to less than half of what I was making so it was a huge alarm and I had other symptoms like really sore nipples.) Had no idea when my period was due.
