So my dad and sister are supper excited for my first baby. They keep looking at baby things and asking when they can get stuff. Dad wants to buy the buggy and car seat. Which is lovely, however I’ve explained not yet. He’s got funny about it and still pushing to buy us things. I’m not even 20 weeks!

Plus I want to go shopping with my other half first. Without anyone else being there pushing us.

I really appreciate what they want to do. But it’s our baby. Plus we need to move house yet.

I may sound unappreciative, don’t get me wrong it’s wonderful he wants to help. But I’d also like to do it my way. With me and my partner.

I’m stressed enough already, with high blood pressure since 8 weeks and protein in my urine already and trying to move house! Be nice to have something our way 😩 without added pressure.
