I received a phone call from my son's friends mother asking for resources for domestic violence because her husband is constantly beating on her & the police won't do anything. I told her I am willing to help her get a protective order but she's worried DCS will remove her kids (7,11,13) I don't know what to do for her. I tried giving her the hotline# but she states that they've told her to leave him, problem is they are illegal immigrants & she has no 1 here to go to. Idk if someone else could give me some ideas to help her out. 🤷
