Vacation at 7 months?

Question I'll be going to black mountain near Asheville NC in June. I'll be 7 months pregnant, can being at a higher altitude make me possibly go into labor early?

I lived in Denver when had my first two, so I was up in the mountains several times and was advised that staying overnights above 8,500 feet wasn’t recommended (unless you live at that altitude) but hikes that go above that are fine. Not sure what the altitude is in Asheville, but guessing not that high.

Nope, you should be fine! Stay hydrated, take breaks when you feel like you need it, and have fun! I would also suggest keeping a protein bar with you in case you get light headed.

That’s not high enough altitude to make a difference. I’d worry about stuff certainly over 10k ft (aka Denver and Hiking Colorado mountains) and yet women are pregnant and go full term in Colorado all the time. I was skiing at 18 weeks... was totally fine.
