Sounds about right. But these weights are just estimates. My first was born at 34 weeks 6 days and was 7lbs 5oz he was a big baby and would of been over 9lbs at 40 weeks. My second was born at 37 weeks 3 days and and she was 7lbs 9oz.

No. Babies are supposed to gain a couple pounds between then and birth. I think its like half a pound a week around that time.

The weight is just a guess on ultrasounds.  They can be off by up to two pounds.  I wouldn’t put much thought into it.
