Did sex hurt the first time after baby?

I’m a little over 6 weeks pp. Had a C-section and still feel a little tender at the bottom of my belly. Got the all clear at my 6 week check up. 
I feel like a virgin all over again lol so scared it’ll hurt. What was your experience.....?

Yes it hurt so much we didn’t have sex without me crying until seven months. It was miserable. I got some numbing spray from the doctor but was too embarrassed to fill the prescription after the first pharmacy told me they didn’t carry it

I had a vaginal birth so I can't speak to c section sex. Just take it slow and don't feel pressure to do penetration if you aren't ready. I'm at 8 months pp and have only recently resumed a mostly normal sex life.

It felt pretty normal to me, i felt like things were tighter down there but thats all. I did feel weird him being on top rubing my c section scar but i put my hand on it and it felt better. Just take your time and dont rush it.

It may be typical but it's not ok and not normal. Ask your obgyn for a referral to see a pelvic floor physical therapist! Mine changed my life. I cannot say enough that you do not need to suffer through sex after a baby.
Tbh I organs harder and easier now than ever lol she fixed more than I had bargained for hahaha

I had sex 6 weeks after my csection. It hurt. I was breastfeeding, so I think there was a dryness issue, but it was not pleasant. It got better once I went on birth control and stopped breastfeeding .
