We had our 20 week scan yesterday and they found a few things that worry them. I have a two vessel umbilical cord and they saw cysts in the right kidney and could not get good views of the heart. We are being sent to a perinatal specialist for a level 2 ultrasound and a fetal echocardiogram. We also have an appointment with a genetic counselor. They tried to get us into the specialist today but couldn't get us in until Monday. Now we have to wait all weekend for some answers. I'm very worried for my baby. I'm also having to take more time off work which I don't have paid hours for. Please keep us in your thoughts during this worrying time.
