I am so excited! I am 7w1d pregnant with my rainbow baby. Due to a previous miscarriage, I am a bit paranoid and impatient - I think the three week wait till my next ultrasound is too long? Right?

Anyhow, I bought a second hand Angelsound fetal doppler and decided to try it out this morning. I know the box said you can only hear baby’s heartbeat via the doppler at 12 weeks gestation, but I decided to give it a try anyway. And to my surprise, baby’s heart beat picked up loud and clear. I know it is baby’s heart beat, because if I move the doppler to my left side, I hear nothing. It is not my own heartbeat either, as baby’s is much faster than mine. I listened to my own heart beat as well. So excited! And so reassuring!!

Now to figure out how to record the precious sounds!!
