Announced to family right away at 5/6 weeks, but saved the Facebook announcement til 17 weeks when we knew the gender and had a nice ultrasound pic

I announced as soon as we found out with my first pregnancy and ended up miscarrying my twins. This time around I waited until after 12 weeks.

I told my closest friends and my mom at 5 weeks right after I had my first appointment. Then everyone else on a case by case basis. I don’t think there’s like a perfect time to break the news. Do it as you feel.
