High school flings and reaching out

Was reading a local blog today, and the letter writer was a middle aged man married 35 years with adult daughters and says he’s happily married but has been curious what his high school sweetheart is up to. He went as far as to google her.

Personally, I have been out of high school 14 years and haven’t thought of my high school boyfriend until reading this letter, and still didn’t give me any desire to reach out to him. We broke up on friendly terms, and wished each other well and have bumped into each other only a hand full of times when in our hometown.

Curious if others would reach out after many years without other intentions
