TMI diarrhea - early labor?

Question

I have been having diarrhea/loose stools and contractions on and off for a few days.  Could this be early labor?   Or will I just have loose BMs until baby comes?   Due date is April 13 (I’m 36.5 weeks)

I’ve had this for days (currently 37 weeks) I just left my appointment and doctor said it’s a sign body is getting ready, (cleaning itself out) but not necessarily a sign that it’s going to Happen in the coming days or even week.  She said it could still be a few weeks.

I'm due 4/14 and have been having loose stools and on and off contractions for week or so now too. It got me worried but my doctor said the same thing - it doesn't mean I'm going into labor, just a symptom of 3rd trimester.
