Congrats!! Ideally you should wait at least 4-6 weeks. Having baby on breast will tell your body how much it needs to produce.

I pumped the next day I had him. I wasn’t producing anything and it helped bring my milk in for him. I still latched him before my milk came in too.

Depends. I pumped a few days after the birth of my first two and didn’t pump with my son until around 5 weeks old. I believe it’s better to wait since your milk changes as it matures and nursing often in the beginning is better for your supply and better for both you and your baby’s learning curve.

Depends if your LO is gaining weight. I started pumping 4 days after my baby was born because she lost 14% of her body weight. My milk didn’t come in. :(

It’s recommended to wait until 6 weeks so your LO can regulate your supply as supposed to a pump. But if you want an over supply or want to start saving, pump away!
