Spider Bite?

I started getting this little bump on my toe two days ago. Very itchy. I went to my general doc yesterday who said it was a spider bite. But the more I’ve researched I’ve found staph and MRSA can present similar. I’m freaking out and of course it’s Saturday so the only thing open is the emergency room at the hospital. Anyone have an opinion? No other symptoms. No fever etc. 15 weeks today.

I get mrsa often as I'm a carrier for it. This I'd NOT mrsa. It is much bigger and painful and looking like a boil. This is something else

Staph & MRSA looks different . I think it’s a spider bite . I work in a prison they have pictures of it everywhere 😭

If you have no other symptoms I would give it at least 5 days to see if it gets better or worse before you see a doctor again. Even a regular staph infection wouldn’t be an emergency. I think it will go down on its own :)

I could be totally wrong but I’m going with spider bite. I’ve had staph/mrsa (on the back of my knee) that started as like a small pimple-sized bump and after 12 hours the bump was the size of a golf ball. It was extremely painful and not itchy at all. If you do go to the ER, all they will do is cut it open to drain it, but they will prescribe antibiotics and pain killers.
