Dermals while pregnant?

Anyone have their hips pierced while pregnant? I’ve had mine for about three years. I’m 12 weeks (on Monday) and I’m already starting to show. I can feel my skin stretch around them and sometimes it hurts, can you get them removed while pregnant or do I just have to tough it out?

Yes you can get them removed. It’s likely your dr will tell you to anyways. It’s a safety hazard if you need a c section. My dr told me all my piercings need to be removable just in case.

You can wait to see if they start rejecting. But I’d bet they will. Definitely just pop into a reputable shop with APP piercers and have a consultation with one who can tell you what to expect. It’s totally safe to have them removed by a properly trained and sterile professional.

I had mine removed by my doctor in the office. The woman who did it wouldn’t do it bc I was pregnant.
