Anyone nurse only once a day?

Does anyone only nurse once to twice a day without pumping in between and maintained milk enough for those feedings?

I’m a working mom, baby is almost 9 months, and my supply has dropped. I nurse her in the morning and she does great, but refuses me during the day. I was pumping every 3 hours and only getting 1/2 oz in a sitting. I don’t want to give up my morning session with her, but am so exhausted from pumping so much for barely anything. I’m afraid if I give up pumping and only nurse her 1-2 times a day (morning and night) that it won’t be enough to maintain what she needs for those couple of sessions.

Can anyone share their stories to help shed some light on this?
