Full term pregnancy after having premature labor

Has anyone had a full term pregnancy after having a preemie? I have 6 amazing kids. My last 3 were preemie. A 34 weeker, a 27 weeker and a 28 weeker. I would like to have one more baby but I'm so nervous about going through the NICU experience again. It's so heart breaking leaving the hospital without your baby, watching then struggle so hard. Hitting all kinds of NICU bumps. My 28 weeker ended up getting hydrocephalus and has had 6 brain surgeries already! So has anyone had a full term pregnancy after having a preemie?

Mine were 37wk,37wks,36wks,&34wksCurrently 26 wks tomorrow hoping this one stays put awhile. How close together did you have yours? Dr told me since it has been 6 yrs since my last one I should be able to go full term.

I know that there are a lot of ways to try and prevent it, but once you've had one, you're more likely to have another with further pregnancies. I had my son at 31 & 6, then I did progesterone shots and biweekly cervix measurements with my daughter and had her at 35 & 2. Now I am 16 weeks with my third and am doing weekly appointments (for heart reasons) and they will measure my cervix, and if it gets too short by 24 weeks, they will do a cerclage, and I start progesterone shots again this pregnancy starting this week as well. In my experience though, the progesterone shots were helpful, so I have faith that this little guy will make it to 35 or more!

Do they know why your babies were prem? My daughter was (just) classed as a preemie. My waters broke spontaneously at 35+6. I'm currently 35+4. Not really the same situation I know but just wanted to say each subsequent pregnancy doesn't always end earlier. I hope someone can give you some reassurance soon x
