Sources for free baby stuff and current promotions?

I know mommys-to-be on a budget would love to know of any sources for free or discounted baby stuff and even used items? Let's help each other out.

I created a registry with Babies R Us (Canada) online and got a voucher to print and take to the store for a free sample pack.

In my pack today I got:

1x Playtex Drop-ins Bottle complete with 5 of the Drop-in bags.

1x Avent Newborn Pacifier (with clip on cover/protector)

1x mini/sample pot of Sudocrem

2x Avent Disposable BreastPads

1x mini/sample bottle of Johnson's Baby Body Wash

1x sachet of lanolin Nipple Cream (won't be using as I don't like lanolin)

1x mini pack of 10 Aleva Naturals sensitive Baby Wipes

Also a handful of leaflets including one with a coupon for 100 FREE photo prints from Snapfish which we will be using when little one is born.

So, even if you only have a couple of things to register for it seems kinda worth it as their freebie pack was pretty good.

Walmart Canada didn't give us anything for registering and Sears Canada only gave us a bunch of leaflets and a couple of coupons.

I know sample sizes aren't a big deal to some people but getting to try a product out BEFORE going out and buttons big Irvin full size is a really good idea! Some babies have very sensitive skin etc so trying a little freebie before spending prescious $$ is always a good idea.
