SCFE (Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis)
I'm just curious as to if any other mothers had been diagnosed with this in childhood, had surgery to correct it and went on to delivery naturally.
I was diagnosed in 1998, at 9yo. I had surgery to put a pin in my L hip because it had slipped out of socket. I'm 27, now, and pregnant with my first child.
I have read different stories about women who did give birth naturally and those that said they couldn't get into the correct position due to putting strain on their hip(s) and jeopardizing it.
