Am I wrong??
So long story short, my fiancé and I live with my in-laws and have been for almost a year. We rent out the basement which is one bedroom, one bathroom with a decent living space. I am currently almost 26 weeks pregnant. We want to rearrange the living area to have room for the baby stuff until we move up. My in-laws have a TON of stuff in the basement that is either broken or they dont use it at all. I have asked several times if they want us to get rid of the broken stuff. They say fine. Some of the stuff they want to keep, but can be moved else where. My father-in-law has dishes that belong to his mother who passed away years ago and the dishes sit in a bar that they do not use....ever. I asked to move the dishes to the cupboards in the laundry room so we can move the bar. My MIL said sure because she wants the bar gone. My FIL says no. There is a LARGE walk in closet they can store stuff in as well. But between my fiancé, I, and my inlaws, we got into a "disagreement" because we want to rearrange what we can in the basement to accommodate the in coming baby until we can find a house (which will be later this year). My in-laws want us to move absolutely nothing if we are planning moving. And my MIL wants me to set up all of the baby stuff upstairs... and I said no to that. So I guess, my question is are we wrong to as to rearrange the basement to accommodate our needs? Because once we move out, we can out everything back the way they want it..
