I dated my husband for 6 weeks before we got engaged.. and married 9 months later! We knew we were dating with the intention of marriage, and there really isn’t a reason to drag your heels for more year in my opinion. As my husband says (eloquently lol) “crap or get off the toilet!”

When I met my husband online we knew what we wanted in life. We both knew we wanted to married sooner not too soon) rather then later. He popped 2 years to the day we met in person. 2 months later we had an intimate ceremony and a year later a wedding. I didn’t want to wait more then 2 years and obviously I wanted to get to know him so it had to be at least over a year. 2 years was right for us and now we’re happily married! If you BOTH are ready for the next step then go for it. But again you have to be on the same page.

We got married 18 months after we started dating.  Didn't really know each other before that. We had meet but had not talked much.

My grandparents dated for 3 WEEKS then got married! They lived a happy life together for many many years (till my grandpa passed away) and she till this day loves no other man.
It depends on you, and how you feel. Live your life. If u feel it's too early, then dont do it. If you feel like this is it, do it! It's up to you and no one else :)

I think that’s plenty of time. A hard and fast rule for some is one year of dating and one year of engagement.

If you’re ready & your relationship has proven to be solid & stable there’s no need to dwell on a time limit. We’ll be together a little over 2 years when we get married but we’ve known since day one we were just destined for each other 🤷🏽‍♀️
