Last night, I finally worked up the courage to break up with my mentally abusive boyfriend. He started yelling and getting mean, so I was secretly recording him. He saw my phone and tried to take it from me. He hit me across the face to get it. I ran to my parents house and when my dad came back with me, he had deleted all the videos. My landlord said she will evict him, but I’m so scared of being there till he’s gone. I have to stay because of my animals there. I don’t know what to do and how to deal with these emotions I feel. Any words of wisdom to help me through this would be greatly appreciated. I did not call the cops because there weren’t any marks left on me, so they won’t do anything except tell him not to do it again.
