Anyone on here have undergone tonsil removal as an adult?? I've had so many issues with my tonsils for over ten years and I've finally gotten the "okay" by a doctor to get them removed this summer at the age of 29. I've been told that the first two weeks are immensely brutal. Anything else I should expect other than excruciating pain? For those that had issues with your tonsils, did surgery resolved your problems, or no?

I'm very, very excited to have them removed but I am also extremely nervous!
