Is it possible to have a long term casual sex arrangement without getting feelings?

I've been having a 'friends with benefits' type arrangement with a guy for about 5 months now. Its strictly sex. We don't text or talk unless it's about sex or to arrange meeting. When we see one another we have sex then go our separate ways, no cuddling or small talk. We see each other once, maybe twice a week.

We both seem happy with the set up and it's unlikely to change or get more serious, but my friends are all concerned that if this goes on for longer I will end up getting emotionally attached to this guy and will end up hurt.

Right now I can't see that happening, but is it possible to maintain a long term casual sex thing with a guy??
