Brown Discharge on Birth Control?

I’m new to BC and I am spotting, I thought.. but its not time for my period yet (on the BC pack), and I am getting what I thought was just dark blood but now I am thinking brown discharge? Whats going on?

The same thing happened to me when I started Birth Control. On my first pack I started to spot a brown discharge on my third week. This was just my body adjusting to the hormones. I asked my OBGYN and she said that it was normal as well. My period still came on the 4th week. I’m on my 4th pack right now and that doesn’t happen anymore. Your body is just getting adjusted.
