Can’t decide if we want to tell everyone or keep it a secret! 17 wks now with a boy💙💙

Kept all three of my babies’ names a secret and we are so glad we did! We did not want to hear anyone’s crappy opinion about the names we had our hearts set on. It’s really difficult to say anything negative about a name once the baby is born and named.

This time I'm only telling my sister's because they're can keep a secret and will support me. Last time I told everyone and my in laws complained sooo much about it and it's a super common name.

We told everyone with my daughter and told the two names we had it narrowed down to with my son. We didn’t really pick anything that might be considered too out there and in the case of my son I really did want to hear others opinions because I was having a tough time deciding!

I announced my sons name at like 6 weeks because I had a feeling it was a boy lol.
The next baby I don’t think we will say much until birth 1) to be more fun when they’re born for our families & 2) we don’t plan on finding out the gender

We told people the names we were considering. For the most part, people were nice about it. But oddly enough we ended up finally picking her name once she was born, and it wasn’t any of the names we were talking about! We were torn between Mallory, Emily and Hailey, and ended up calling her Elizabeth (Ellie for short). No one saw that coming since we didn’t even see that coming!

We didn’t share our first sons’s name until birth and won’t again with this one. Names caused a lot of drama with my BIL, his wife and mostly FIL. My dad’s wife also thinks she gets opinions on things and I could care less what she has to say. 
Mostly I like that just my husband and I know and that we will have about 20 more weeks of not having other’s opinions.
