So today is Grandparents day and in honor of that I sent both sets of future grandparents a package containing the picture books How to Babysit a Grandma and How to Babysit a Grandpa. My mom let me know the package had arrived and then texted this am to say they opened it and loved it. My in laws on the other hand never let me know it arrived and I had to text them this am to ask if they had received it. The response was yes and my father in law read his. No thank you. No we love it. Nada. Not unusual with them but upsetting still the same.
