2nd child?!?

I just wanted to hear some advice or stories from other stay at home moms. I have 1 daughter that is 16 months old already and we are thinking about trying for another child in August. I guess I'm saying I am a little scared that I won't be able to handle it by myself all day everyday and just wanted to hear others experiences have two children semi close together. Were you overwhelmed? Or did it just come naturally like the first time?

Mine are two years apart..my first just turned two and my second just turned a month old. I think I'm still trying to get into the swing of things! My two year old doesn't really pay any mind to the baby yet. She has put an Annie's Chocolate Bunny in her mouth and she does try to pick her up 😑 so it's a little tough leaving the baby alone when my other daughter is nearby. It's really tough balancing to two, I'm not gonna lie. The baby honestly cries wayyyy more than my first ever did. I just can't do two things at once. I know it will get easier, and harder at times, but I'm happy they are close in age!

There's no doubt in my mind it's going to be chaotic and hard when my newborn comes my oldest will be 18months. But at the same time I know at the end of the day they are both so loved, wanted and have everything they need so even if I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off and I am stressed beyond belief I would never trade or change it. Because both of these little boys and their amazing father are my biggest blessing and my biggest reason why I do everything.

I have 2 kids 12 months apart. I got pregnant with my second 3 months after my first, just like you I was really scared. I didn’t know how I was gonna handle it. My son just turned 2 last week & my daughter is turning one next week. It’s not “hard” but it’s a lot of work. Once you get them on a schedule it’s much easier. #1 advice I like to give is to try & get them to take ATLEAST one nap at the same time. It’ll give you time to relax, shower, eat & get yourself together. Don’t worry mama, you can do this! Good luck! 🍀❤️

I want to answer but I’m a stay at home mom of 2 kids and they’re just too wild I can’t deal but I try to as much as I can anyway. Even worse is that I’m on my third already... let’s see how that goes

First week was anarchy. Second week was a bit chaotic. Third week is as organized as I ever expect to be with children in my house.

I’m going to be trying for #2 in July/August too!
Although my first daughter turns 3 in November so I can’t say it’s not gonna be easy, but i’m sure it will be hard at first but then you’ll probably get in to a rhythm, fingers crossed for you!

Well in my opinion and experience it can be a little chaotic. Mostly on the weekends though because my 5 1/2 year old goes to school but then I’m home with a 3 year old and 4 month old. I just try to do as much as I can to entertain them and taking them places. It has its good and bad days
