Why me?????

Not only am i 44 and ttc, but we just found out that hubby has to see a urologist. Sperm count is super high. Motility is only 7. Anyone else dealing with the same??

Yes our re told us that he has motility issues (%68 bad). He is 38 but has a variant on his genetic test for cystic fibrosis (one variant won’t get it but 50/50 pass the gene on) which has been linked to sperm issues. Not only motility but early miscarriages. He is the only child of two only children, who after yrs of trying needed fertility meds to have him. Genetics!!
My amh is high for a 40 year old (10.98) and  I don’t have any genetic problems. I respond too well to all the fertility meds and have shocked most of the doctors I have seen. Last round of Follistim I made 15 eggs. They canceled my iui, it was too dangerous. My aunt had my cousin by accident in her mid 40s and her husband was only in town 5x a year. Genetics!
It takes 2 to make a baby. Hopefully the changes our men make will make a difference! He is taking some supplements and changed his underwear.
