Tanning Bed / self tan / spray tan ?

Anyone still use tanning beds? Can you tell me your thoughts, how you like it, what’s your preference? I’ve never gotten one but pretty white but I’m nervous idk what they do the first time and if you even notice a difference after the first time

No, I just spend a lot of time outside & don't use sunscreen, I use oil because it has a natural spf, but it doesn't work if you just chill in direct sunlight all day.
I've considered getting a tan, even to protect myself from the sun naturally by being able to control my sun exposure better so I don't burn when I go on a six hour hike. But I'm so cheap, I just refuse to buy stuff I don't need. 
A tan seems to be a way for your skin to protect itself from the sun better. 
I don't completely buy into having a tan being unhealthy. Although sure, we know UV-A rays can contribute to aging.
I don't believe sunscreen is healthy either, it keeps you from producing vitamin D which most of us are deficient in & sunscreen can contain chemicals which can cause cancer too... so nah im putting the sun on my body like nature intended. 
Tanning beds tend to have several types of radiation damage, the UV rays and sone weird electromagnetic thing in almost all tanning beds? 
So I think tanning that way may not be the healthiest.
The chemical used in spray or fake tan ends up in your bloodstream, that's a rather big no from me.

I can’t tan. I come in two colors white or red. 😂 I don’t want cancer but, still don’t fully embrace my pale skin. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So, For certain occasions I spray tan. I feel it hides some of my flaws and is a confidence boost for me. They will color match  you and just go with a light or medium.

I'm big into aintaging and taking care of your skin. If your wanting to take a chance at getting skin cancer(happened to a guy my senior yr in hs) than no. Also it's just going to make you age more down the road more wrinkles. I'd rather be pasty.
