Sun baking when pregnant?

Question

My husband and I are leaving on our baby moon in 4 weeks, I'll be 30 weeks. 6 days in a gorgeous resort on the beach and beautiful pool . My family keep telling me I should stay out of the sun? Is that correct? Obviously wouldn't sit in the sun for hours and wouldn't let myself over heat... What's your opinions?

It's fine but keep in mind us pregnant ladies burn fast! My husband and I went to the beach and I stayed under a cabana and only went in the sun for 30 minutes or so and got REALLY burnt! Granted I'm in Louisiana and we had a heat index of like 110 with strong UV rays but hey, I learned my lesson! Haha!

I've layer out my whole pregnancy. Just stay hydrated, use sunscreen and take plenty of cooling down breaks! Enjoy!

No enjoy the sun!!! I did at the beach and pool all summer! My doctor said there was nothing wrong with being in the sun. Sunscreen and hydration is all you need.
