I saw a documentary maybe 5 years ago about this. At the time it was still technically illegal in some states to sell vibrators. That’s why they are marketed under “personal massagers”

There are actually alot of dumb laws that are no longer active but yet still in the statues. I know Florida had some about illegal to kill flies. Something about not living together unless married.
