How fast would this fade?

My brother told me I may want reconsider the placement. He said it may fade really fast. Does anyone have a tattoo placed here too and do you think it faded fast?

I don't know why it would fade quickly in a spot like that,  but I'm not any kind of tattoo expert either...

Your skin is thin there and also a spot hit by the sun alot(think sunburns). Shampoo is also gonna wash it every time you wash.

As far as fading, I really don’t know. I would ask your artist what they think.
Also, make sure you find a really good artist for this. Those are really tiny details in the coloring and it would be super easy to completely ruin. My cousin has a tattoo behind her ear, and when I saw it the first time, it honestly looked like a total mess to me😬 it looked like the ink had literally run under her skin! So yeah, do tons of research to find a talented artist for this. But it’s so gorgeous, I would do it whether it fades or not!

I have one that sits right behind my ear and it hasn’t faded at all. Maybe you should consider moving it there 🤔🙂

Fading won’t necessarily be the issue, but the ink has a high chance of blowing out after a couple months because the skin is so thin there. It might end up looking splotchy or like a water color painting that’s spread.

Just ask a local tattoo artist or even call their shop. I’m sure they’ll be able to tell you
