How to break up?

So I'm going to break up with my bf on Tuesday, but I don't know how. He's my first boyfriend so I've never broken up with anyone or had a break up. I was thinking about taking him to our favorite spot in the woods at the park and telling him how I feel. What do you guys think?

Go someplace public or to his place so you can leave if you want. Just express your feelings, keep it pretty short and then leave. Don't try and stick around. I know it sounds mean, but it's better to just go especially if things get emotional because sometimes in that moment it's harder to make the full break and its human nature to question your decision in that moment. The first week is always the hardest but if you're already at the point where you know you want to do it, then just rip the band aid. Good luck 💜

I was with my bf of two and half years when I broke up with him. I went to his house because i think it's kinda fucked up to make the person have to drive after such bad news. But where ever you do it it doesn't really
Matter. Get to the point, be completely honesty as to why and keep it simple. I've had some exes just kinda get sad but not say too much and I've exes that cuss me out. Either way a lot of emotions go thru them and even if they say something hurtful, just stay calm. It'll make it easier for you.
