Ectropion?!

Question

22 weeks pregnant and rushed to ER and told that I have an ectropion.. Does anyone have any information on this or have went through something similar? Thanks in advance :)

I had a little bleed on Wednesday night and went to hospital Thursday morning.  The bleeding had stopped but I needed reassurance.  Me & baby were checked &  fine.  
My scan is as brought forward to Sat morning 9:30am (yesterday) at 21 weeks.  I had had no bleeding except a small clot just before my scan.  The Sonograoher confirmed baby is healthy and the placenta is not on my cervix. 
By 2:30pm, Saturday, I was bleeding again.  By 4:30pm I was scared and rang hospital.  They advised me to come in.  They did the same checks as Thursday but a doctor also came to look internally at my cervix.  There she found I have an ectropion cervix causing the bleeding. 
It won’t harm the baby but the sensitive cells can bleed.  I’ve been told to avoid doing anything that might aggregate it like sex or sports but I haven’t been. 
This morning, Sunday, I woke bleeding.  I have bled lightly all day and worn a pad.  I just went to the loo and there was a small clot and the bleeding has stopped.  All day I have sat on the sofa or computer, doing nothing strenuous.
Tomorrow, I will call my midwife to update her on this.  I find the blood scary and it leaves me confused when I should worry about my baby.  I am in no pain but not yet able to feel the baby often.  I’m going to see if my midwife can suggest anything to help.  I not doing anything to aggregate my cervix and cause bleeding.  :/

Ectropion (ek-TROH-pee-on) is a condition in which your eyelid — typically the lower lid — turns out. This leaves the inner eyelid surface exposed and prone to irritation. Ectropion is more common in older adults. 
In severe ectropion, the entire length of the eyelid is turned out. When ectropion is less severe, only one segment of the eyelid sags away from the eye. 
Artificial tears can help relieve the symptoms caused by ectropion until you can have surgery to correct the condition.
