Made up name?

Do you think made up names are okay? My husband and I LOVE the name Lunekai for our girl. We feel like it's pretty easy to pronounce and we think it sounds really beautiful. "Lune" means moon and "Kai" means sea or ocean. We also love the idea of "Luna" and "Kai" as nickname options. Please comment what you think! We really just want to get people's honest opinions. And please don't choose "poll" as your answer, I just added that for myself so I can get accurate results. Thank you guys!!!!

I think it's fine if it's not a ridiculous name. And this name is really pretty. One of my sisters in law has a made up name and it's kinda funny.

How about first name Luna and middle name Kai.

I'm all for made up names of some right. My daughters middle name is Evaline (Evelyn+Nadine after grandmothers). If our second baby is a girl her middle name will be Linetta (Linda+Loretta after husband's grandmothers). Go for it!

I like the idea just worry it will be hard for people to pronounce but what names aren't anymore? People spell common names in all sorts of different ways and causes people to mispronounce them. 
I think it's unique and pretty. She just may need to help people out with pronouncing :)
