Clear blue ovulation test help!

I started using the clear blue ovulation tests last month and on day 14 got a solid smiley face. This cycle I’m on day 13 and nothing. Am I right in thinking you should get a flashing smiley face before a solid?

I’m 36 and starting ttc for my first, I’m now worried I don’t ovulate regularly :(
