Nipple help?

So i got my nipples pierced. Didnt hurt too bad. Next morning, and next 3 days, they didnt hurt at all. Now all the sudden they hurt. BUT its not the piercing holes that hurts... Its the tip of my nipple, like u know where ur milk comes out, they sting. They look normal, tiny swollen maybe but have been like that since getting done. And im not sure but they may be leaking, they keep peeling as if they r leaking and drying? My kids r 2+ years old and i never breast fed. I clean them at least twuce a day, 3 if i get sweaty. I wear a snug bra when i have to wear a bra and let them breath as much as possible. Have not snagged on anything. Did a salt soak and it helped 1 but not the other. 😞 any one else have this? My piercer is 45 minutes away, i really dont want to go in. Maybe its normal and im just being wierd? My husband got his done and just keeps talking about how easy his were. Im gonna punch him. Lol
